About Me! What's happening in my life... I gave birth to a baby!

2 Posts ago I told you about my Wedding, and that was a year ago. Many things has happened ever since then.

I am now a proud mommy of one special little girl. Back flash - Aug 2018 we got married, then we went on our Spain honeymoon and then 10 months later we had our little baby girl. No it was not a honeymoon baby. I was a young newly wed wife with no knowledge of how to raise a child, but have faith in God and all possible mothers instinct kicks in. All of a sudden you know things you never new.  I remember the Wednesday before the Friday I had to go in for my c-section I cried and told my husband, I haven't even finish the book I started reading. What is baby cries...Well I through the book one side and decided to leave everything in God's hands because I was scared, frustrated and emotional about everything from that point. The Friday morning of 19 July 2019 I got up, I wasn't stressed I just took the day as it come. We got to the hospital I was booked in and from there we waited. I thought I was going in 01:30pm - but I didn't I only went in that night before 05:00pm. Finally I went into theater where I was about the get anesthetics, and I absolutely hated it. It was so unbelievably sore and I cried, but then everything started getting numb, I couldn't feel anything and from there the surgery started. I could feel how the doctors moved my body, but I didn't feel any pain. This was such a relieve as the worst was over and that was the spinal injection. Finally I heard little baby was crying and my heart was sooooo happy. You truly do forget the pain once you hear and have your little bundle in your arms. As I was pushed out of theater I was bombed with grandma's and well... only grandma's! I got to my room and was still numbed, after 10:00pm I started getting feeling back in my legs, it was sore but bearable. The following day I didn't move a lot only to the loo and back. From the Sunday I got up and started walking up and down the corridor. The doctor did her check ups and she was happy and the pediatrician was happy with Baby Moo. I was encouraged to breast feed and I did my best however it was to painful and now I don't breast feed anymore. I really wish I didn't stop as I regret it today, but in the future with baby #2 I know what to expect and will definitely carry on. That was just a little update on Baby Moo, she is doing great, she's healthy and beautiful.

You will definitely see more baby related posts in the future, whether it is fashion, beauty, shopping what ever.

Hope you enjoyed this update.
One thing I used to hate that people told me while I was pregnant "having a baby is going to change your life", "you won't have time to do this and that"... blah blah blah - well that was true! I don't regret having my little Moo once. She is such a blessing and the love (apart from each other) of my husbands and my life! Every minute I get to edit, post, blog etc. I take it but that's usually when she's asleep, like now. Sometimes I regret, before I got pregnant, wasting time because I just used to sit and didn't do anything, WHYYYY??

My day summed up: Get up, drop Moo of at ouma, work, take a nap with Moo, get home, Moomoo's sleeping so I try to blogging/vlogging, husband gets home, have Pro-vita dinner, watch about two episodes of a series (just finished Riverdale - following Stranger things, Walking dead....mmm sure I missed something...Big mouth lol), go to bed and try yo get as much sleep as I can before feeding times. So life has been a bit busy as you can see.

Let me get in this weeks post!

Buying from VOVA!

Buying online can be risky but also exciting. Risky you might not get your order, you lose your money, you don't trust only shopping anymore, well I don't blame you! Exciting, it either gets delivered to your door or you collect from the post office, in both cases you get charged delivery costs, you have to purchase over a certain amount for free delivery, or you have to pay some post office fees. What ever the case, you got something you ordered. Purchasing from some online stores example Wish. I personally think Wish has a mass order system going on as there are still orders we are waiting on (hate it), and I am not sure where the problem is, Wish, supplier, customs or post office! But not getting into that at the moment (I am just getting very angry).
Back to my point, I ordered from VOVA to see if their quality is good and how their delivery is. By surprise they were not bad at all (this was the second time I have ordered from them though). The first time I ordered from them was a notebook (which was smaller then I expected BUT I still loved it, a silicone/rubber thingy you put on your fingers to teach children how to probably hold their pencil/pen once they start writing. The second time around I ordered the following:

Just having a baby scars and stretch marks can really mess around with your self esteem - even if no one sees it, if you are a woman you know how your body looks and feels, and whether you are happy with it. I decided to try this Mango Stretch Mark cream from RtopR, I am not familiar with them at all, so I'll probably check out their website and read up about them more and then if it sounds good I'll do a week review on it and share with you.

I absolutely loved this pants when I saw it on the app and had to get it, even though I got it in a smaller size than I actually am, it's my goal to work towards this size. The fabric does feel a bit warm, but it's still wearable in warm days (well maybe not the absolute warm days we have been experiencing the last few weeks in Johannesburg), it is still a neat looking pants for work, meetings, interviews and it will give you the look, you know what's happening with fashion. Pair it with nice classic white button top and some strappy heels, add nice gold accessories or for a more sophisticated look go for silver.

Glen Check / Houndstooth pattern

Then I saw this mustard woman's jacket (currently one of my favorite colors), in the picture from the app this jacket did not look like the one I received, however I am not entirely disappointed with the way it looks, perhaps a bit. It's not as long as in the picture and the sleeves was folded, which I can't fold over these sleeves otherwise it might be to short.

After my video I though if it really is worth ordering international, because with the extra fees you have to pay (at the post office) you might just as well by at a shop from the mall. Maybe depending on what I order, I'll consider it again.
