Skin Type - Normal/Combination Skin:

Before I start so sorry for the delayed blogging the last couple of weeks has been sooooo stressful and I've been so busy @ work and I am still crazy busy.

A lot of things has happen since my last content but that's a story to be told in my diary. This is a personal blogging site with my own opinion about fashion, beauty, health etc so lets keep it that way haha!

Anyways soooo I decided to to skin type - Normal / Combination today!

This skin type is usually the toughest skin type to deal with because you are dealing with two skin types at the same time. If you have this skin type don't think it doesn't need to be taken care of like any other skin types, it also needs it TLC.
This skin type has a good oil and water balance. Deep cleansing and exfoliation can keep your skin clear from pimples and blemishes to minimum.

Characteristics of Normal / Combination Skin
  • Oily T-zone (nose, forehead and chin)
  • Mostly blemish and pimple free.
  • Consistent plump, moist and vibrant.
  • Some areas look dry and flaky (usually the cheeks).
  • Pimples and blackheads in oily areas (occasionally).
Treatments and products
Best way to treat combination skin is to treat the main problem first.
  • Use Thermal cleanser (they usually have exfoliants in).
  • Foam cleansers
  • Toner - Skin tonics that contain 0 - 20% of alcohol and water. Example orange flower water.
  • Combination skin requires gentle oil control as well as moisture to ensure an even healthier skin.
  • Moisturizer - You may need various moisturizers. Use a richer moisturizer on the drier areas.
  • Before you touch your face (don't touch if not necessary), wash your hands.
Natural Ingredients for Normal / Combination skin:
  • Green Tea Extract
  • Rosemary Extract
  • Witch Hazel
  • Orange Flower Extract
  • Banana
  • Calendula (Marigold Flower)
Suitable facials for Normal / Combination Skin:
  • Normal Facials
  • Bio-lift Facials
  • Collagen Facials
  • Exfoliating Facials

So have a great weekend ladies and gents!

Be save!!!

MultiFlora John Meyburgh - Flower Designers

A man’s heart is through his stomach, will I be correct if I say a ladies heart is through flowers? As ladies we differ so the way to your heart may differ from the rest, but after Saterday I’d definitely go with flowers.
1. Whose heart won’t lit up if you get the most beautiful flowers (at that moment) delivered to you at work or home?
2. The fragrance is calming but still exciting.
3. It doesn’t add that extra kilogram on the bum or hips - so gents don’t go and buy chocolates with rather go with Turkish delight or even fudge – yes I know it’s also fattening but it wouldn’t sound that bad then.

Today we visited the MultiFlora in Johannesburg your number one floral market in Johannesburg – please correct me if there are other floral markets that beat MultiFlora – in Johannesburg! Anyways so John Meyburgh was our Flower Designer, as he refers to himself. He says he is NOT a florist!
I’d like to share some images of this event and John’s beautiful creations.

Who doesn’t love goody bags!! So after the show you have to run to get a goody bag because there are only 200!

And the winner is!!!
Yap I actually won something! Sponsored by Home and Garden.

If you’d like to join one of these events make sure you always about 1 hour and half early if you want to get the nice seats. Not that it is that much of an issue but it does get a bit crammed if you’re late.

Next event will be about crafts on the 4th of April 2016 – so make sure you join the fun!

Fashion Buys

So after a nice breakfast with the family at Harvard cafe at the Rand Airport I decided to kidnap my mom and sister afterwards and go to the mall. We went to the mall and I bought a few items which I will be sharing with you today.

Legit

Work shoes – I have been wearing the same shoes to work for quite some time and work uniform is navy, sometimes when I would walk in our supermarket the people would ask me if I’m a nurse or, in Clicks if I work there (that will be in the beauty department) – Uhm nope I am actually a personal assistant at an Electrical company....! Anyways sooo I decided to go with my pointy pumps. I run up and down at work so I need something comfortable on my feet and these pointy pumps are doing great – R100

Black velvet and black leather handbag – PA Bag! this I owe to myself! I really needed a handbag. I am not going to tell you what I have been using the last few months as a handbag heheh. It’s great because it has a long sling handle which is great because I don’t always feel like carrying my bang by its small handle and its spacey enough for all my needies in my bag. – R160

From Sweetheart

Peach floral mini purse – my other purse is taking up to much space in my bag so I decided to go with a smaller one to put my card and notes in. – R15

 Makeup
Blusher – been falling in love with peach shade blushers lately. This was the only one I could find that I was into but there were lots of pink shades, if you are more into pink – maybe on my next buy, I’ll go for pink shades. – R15

Eye shadow – Yes also love these matte brown shades.  – R29

Lipsticks – Love these colours again I’m moving towards the peachy colours. The one is more bright peach and the other more dramatic red. – From R15

Manicure Nail hardener – For a while my nails was doing great and now it seems it’s not getting strong anymore... I bought this nail hardener to see if it maybe works. – R12

Jewellery
So there’s this photographer in the Garden Route and he is good! So I decided to also do a shoot with him when we go down on holiday in May, looking forward to that! So my whole idea is to go with black chiffon dress and gold jewellery sea as a background and maybe with a bikini underneath.

Ring – I came across this beautiful ring that I want to incorporate in my outfit. - R45

Ankle chain – Love this ankle chain as I can wear it with anything it’s not too bulky and not too fancy. I’m also going to wear this with my chiffon outfit. – R20

Glad I could share this with you.
If you want to find out more about these items, feel free to mail me and we can chat!

Well have a great weekend guys and girls and remember BE SAVE!

Hallo March

As i was searching a nice picture for my Hallo March content, everything was Spring, that kind of got me jealous cause I love Spring the flowers that bloom, it is amazingly beautiful! In South Africa it is Fall so I decided to go with a fall look and came across this one that's beautiful and it also made me think...
What does God have planned for us in the road ahead.

May God bless each one of us with a save journey in the month of March!

Have a great day!
