About Me! What's happening in my life... I gave birth to a baby!

2 Posts ago I told you about my Wedding, and that was a year ago. Many things has happened ever since then.

I am now a proud mommy of one special little girl. Back flash - Aug 2018 we got married, then we went on our Spain honeymoon and then 10 months later we had our little baby girl. No it was not a honeymoon baby. I was a young newly wed wife with no knowledge of how to raise a child, but have faith in God and all possible mothers instinct kicks in. All of a sudden you know things you never new.  I remember the Wednesday before the Friday I had to go in for my c-section I cried and told my husband, I haven't even finish the book I started reading. What is baby cries...Well I through the book one side and decided to leave everything in God's hands because I was scared, frustrated and emotional about everything from that point. The Friday morning of 19 July 2019 I got up, I wasn't stressed I just took the day as it come. We got to the hospital I was booked in and from there we waited. I thought I was going in 01:30pm - but I didn't I only went in that night before 05:00pm. Finally I went into theater where I was about the get anesthetics, and I absolutely hated it. It was so unbelievably sore and I cried, but then everything started getting numb, I couldn't feel anything and from there the surgery started. I could feel how the doctors moved my body, but I didn't feel any pain. This was such a relieve as the worst was over and that was the spinal injection. Finally I heard little baby was crying and my heart was sooooo happy. You truly do forget the pain once you hear and have your little bundle in your arms. As I was pushed out of theater I was bombed with grandma's and well... only grandma's! I got to my room and was still numbed, after 10:00pm I started getting feeling back in my legs, it was sore but bearable. The following day I didn't move a lot only to the loo and back. From the Sunday I got up and started walking up and down the corridor. The doctor did her check ups and she was happy and the pediatrician was happy with Baby Moo. I was encouraged to breast feed and I did my best however it was to painful and now I don't breast feed anymore. I really wish I didn't stop as I regret it today, but in the future with baby #2 I know what to expect and will definitely carry on. That was just a little update on Baby Moo, she is doing great, she's healthy and beautiful.

You will definitely see more baby related posts in the future, whether it is fashion, beauty, shopping what ever.

Hope you enjoyed this update.
One thing I used to hate that people told me while I was pregnant "having a baby is going to change your life", "you won't have time to do this and that"... blah blah blah - well that was true! I don't regret having my little Moo once. She is such a blessing and the love (apart from each other) of my husbands and my life! Every minute I get to edit, post, blog etc. I take it but that's usually when she's asleep, like now. Sometimes I regret, before I got pregnant, wasting time because I just used to sit and didn't do anything, WHYYYY??

My day summed up: Get up, drop Moo of at ouma, work, take a nap with Moo, get home, Moomoo's sleeping so I try to blogging/vlogging, husband gets home, have Pro-vita dinner, watch about two episodes of a series (just finished Riverdale - following Stranger things, Walking dead....mmm sure I missed something...Big mouth lol), go to bed and try yo get as much sleep as I can before feeding times. So life has been a bit busy as you can see.

Let me get in this weeks post!

Buying from VOVA!

Buying online can be risky but also exciting. Risky you might not get your order, you lose your money, you don't trust only shopping anymore, well I don't blame you! Exciting, it either gets delivered to your door or you collect from the post office, in both cases you get charged delivery costs, you have to purchase over a certain amount for free delivery, or you have to pay some post office fees. What ever the case, you got something you ordered. Purchasing from some online stores example Wish. I personally think Wish has a mass order system going on as there are still orders we are waiting on (hate it), and I am not sure where the problem is, Wish, supplier, customs or post office! But not getting into that at the moment (I am just getting very angry).
Back to my point, I ordered from VOVA to see if their quality is good and how their delivery is. By surprise they were not bad at all (this was the second time I have ordered from them though). The first time I ordered from them was a notebook (which was smaller then I expected BUT I still loved it, a silicone/rubber thingy you put on your fingers to teach children how to probably hold their pencil/pen once they start writing. The second time around I ordered the following:

Just having a baby scars and stretch marks can really mess around with your self esteem - even if no one sees it, if you are a woman you know how your body looks and feels, and whether you are happy with it. I decided to try this Mango Stretch Mark cream from RtopR, I am not familiar with them at all, so I'll probably check out their website and read up about them more and then if it sounds good I'll do a week review on it and share with you.

I absolutely loved this pants when I saw it on the app and had to get it, even though I got it in a smaller size than I actually am, it's my goal to work towards this size. The fabric does feel a bit warm, but it's still wearable in warm days (well maybe not the absolute warm days we have been experiencing the last few weeks in Johannesburg), it is still a neat looking pants for work, meetings, interviews and it will give you the look, you know what's happening with fashion. Pair it with nice classic white button top and some strappy heels, add nice gold accessories or for a more sophisticated look go for silver.

Glen Check / Houndstooth pattern

Then I saw this mustard woman's jacket (currently one of my favorite colors), in the picture from the app this jacket did not look like the one I received, however I am not entirely disappointed with the way it looks, perhaps a bit. It's not as long as in the picture and the sleeves was folded, which I can't fold over these sleeves otherwise it might be to short.

After my video I though if it really is worth ordering international, because with the extra fees you have to pay (at the post office) you might just as well by at a shop from the mall. Maybe depending on what I order, I'll consider it again.

That Nail and Beauty Lady

Hi All,

So as per my last post I told you that I quit my job! Reason, not because I won the lotto (I wish) but because i wanted to start my own business, I should have probably just be a bit more prepared, building your own business is not that easy and it requires dedication and hard work!

Thats not really the problem, getting clients etc...

But I dont really do alot of writing I love the pictures so here are a few nails I have done thus far!

These are a few I have done I am not sure where the rest are ....

I also done my Diploma & Certificates at Magnetic http://magneticna.co.za/ which i learned how to do Acrylic, Gel, Fiber & Silk. I was also taught the finer details and how to get clients etc, but at the end of the day its still a struggle to build your client base.

My portfolio work

This was for my exam - which I did extremely well for all my practicals and Theories I got over 85% for all!!!

I have noticed and I cant hear it enough people telling me I have gone into the most difficult industry to build yourself up! I KNOW! but if you have a passion and enjoy something will you stop doing it because everyone else is doing it? No! You go on be open to advise not negativity and work towards your dreams! Show all the people that said you couldn't you can - and always keep the people that supported you - close!

At the moment I have two hands of potential clients - that support me, I have one client who supports me endlessly. If there are ladies whom I know does not do their nails (example my mom en sister) I do not pressure them into doing it!
OKAY! ENOUGH COMPLAINING!

And my price List!!! :D

YES .... YESSS.... FINALLY YESS!!

Hey everyone,
So he popped the question... and I said YES!

HOW?
One very cold misty Monday morning on Table Mountain he got down on one knee and looked me in the eyes and brrrrrred out those beautiful words! Although we couldn't experience the beautiful sunrise on this happy day all else was pretty special.

I don't know how to thank God enough for giving me this wonderful man. He has changed my life drastically but in a good way of course. He encourages me to follow my dreams, supports me, he just does so much for me, he treats me like no other and he makes my worth noticeable. We are not perfect but the love we have for each other makes up for all the imperfections.

There is a whole story around my ring,
The heart is my heart, and the pink stones are his birthstones, this is him protecting my heart...
The blue birthstones are mine which means I am his pillar, his rock, I'm always there to be by his side and support him...
Then there is a bow... this means that our love for each other is a gift from God.

I usually get the first part wrong so I will confirm with him again :)

Dress from Truworths R360 (I think) - was on special,
jewelry also from Truworths @ R100 (I also think) :)

This was us this weekend at his brother's wedding.

So I will keep you guys updated on my future wedding planning ideas etc.

Have an awesome day.
XOXO

Nude by Rihanna

Good afternoon all...

So 2016 ended not to bad... okay it ended great and well 2017 same...

So ending with 2016 I got something from my boss, just a Merry Christmas ... Happy new Year, thank you for dealing with my (we all know what) during 2016 present.
Whilst I'm not really a perfume girl... I liked this and then from there on I just liked perfume?
Is that weird... well if you got this then its totally normal.

Nude by Rihanna

Nude by Rihanna is a sweet floral – fruity fragrance with a vanilla background.
With its woody and skin musky notes, the fragrance transmits intimacy
and a feeling of bare skin and nakedness.

Fruity aromas of guava, mandarin and pear are located at the opening of the composition.
The heart is blended out of white flowers: gardenia petals, velvety Sambac jasmine and creamy orange blossom.
The base consists of sandalwood, vanilla orchid and "second skin" musk.

Availability: Selected Edgars, Foschini, Red Square, Stuttafords, Woolworths and Truworths stores.
Price: Depending on the size (ml's) of the perfume you can expect to pay anything from
R465 - R695, IN South Africa

Well that's all from me now.
Will be updating again soon. Have a great Sunday afternoon

XOXO

My daily Beauty Routine with Aloe Ferox

Hi, Everyone...

Wow, I haven't been updating you guys for a while now...
Where do I start??!! hehe

******************************************************************************

Aloe Ferox
I believe if I sell a product to people I must at least be familiarized with it.

Okay so my daily beauty routine goes as follows:

1. Foaming Cleanser
Foaming cleanser is a liquid facial cleanser ideally suited for normal and combination skin, but my skin type is oily and during my time studying Beauty Therapy, I have learnt for oily skin, washing your skin with a foam based face wash is suggested. Dirt and oils are gently dissolved, make-up is removed and pores are cleansed.

From Aloe: Cleanse the skin at least once a day thoroughly but gently.

TIP! Use cleansing action to massage skin gently. This promotes blood circulation which in turn promotes a rosy appearance.

Why should you use a daily cleanser?
      Locks the moisture in
Helps protect the skin against dehydration
Aloe is beneficial for the elasticity of the skin

(Photo to be updated soon)

2. Balancing Toner
Balancing Toner refreshes and cools the skin after cleansing face and neck area. It also helps to remove remaining dirt and make-up. Balancing Toner is an absolutely necessary part of the facial routine because of acts as an astringent after cleansing; closes the pores of the skin, restores the pH balance of the skin; protects against bacteria and contamination; absorbs excess oil.

From Aloe: Balancing Toner is lightly fragranced, but a non-perfumed version is available for the sensitive and allergic skin.

Why should you use a toner daily?
Aloe helps improve the penetrability of the skin to absorb nutrients and moisturizers.
Allow protects the skin against dehydration.
Balancing Toner does not contain alcohol.

3. Super Aloe Gel
Super Aloe gel is made up of a combination of herbs that are known for their positive effect on various skin conditions.
A skin care routine without Super Aloe Gel is incomplete. Aloe improves absorption of nutrients and has a positive effect on the repairing action and the elasticity of the skin.
Important antioxidants in Super Aloe Gel helps to slow signs of aging.

From Aloe: Apply 2 - 3 x per day to the skin where necessary.

Why should you use Super Aloe Gel daily?
Aloe contains at least 130 medicinal agents with various actions: anti-inflammatory, analgesic calming, antiseptic, germicidal, anti-viral, anti-tumour, anti-cancer, detoxifying, stimulating cell renewal, stimulating wound healing and destroying parasitises.
Aloe helps to improve penetration in the skin so that nutrients and moisturizers can be absorbed more easily
Aloe improves elasticity and has a repairing effect on the skin.

4.Moisturizer
Moisturizer is ideally suited for oily, normal and combination skin. The moisturizer also delays the aging process.
Treatment of the skin frequently causes the oil glands to function better and improve the condition of the skin.

From Aloe: Moisturizer to be applied before aloe gels dries completely. This promotes absorption.

Why should you use Moisturizer daily?
Advantageous to delay signs of aging
Beneficial for cell rejuvenation and suppleness
Helps protect against dehydration and pollution
Nourishes the skin

*******************************************************************************

I have been using Aloe Ferox since May 2016, this year and I absolutely love it! I love that all the products are made from the Aloe plant.

I have really been seeing some awesome results, however, I started using the Radical Image capsules which really had a great effect on my breakout, then clever "me" stopped taking it and I started breaking out again. The secret to have a great flawless looking skin, one should do exercise, eat healthily and cut down on all those nice sweets and fizzy drinks, even alcohol. You also need to follow a daily beauty routine, morning and night. Wash, tone, moisturize. Even if you have a beautiful skin - stick to what I have mentioned above... as you want to keep that good looking skin right?

Subscribe to my blog to get more updates about my daily Beauty Routine!
More to follow tomorrow! :)

Have a great day further...
